That I am not missing anything and know what they are talking about most of the time (except sometimes in reading parts where seldomly they use more advanced grammar in certain points). What I like about MNN Chuukyuu is that it's translated, the vocabulary section, and that it has the grammar notes a little bit more explained than other books, plus, I know that I am following a continuity in my studies.

As I arrived later to the course, I am missing to see many grammar lessons and trying to support myself with self-study. In the school I am at right new we use one called 'Level Up Nihongo Bunhou'. Nowadays the two parts of the MNN Chuukyuu have been published.

In the Japanese school I was going to they used the 'New Approach Japanese Intermediate Course' book instead of MNN, but perhaps that's also because the MNN Chuukyuu was new back then (10 years ago, just the first half had come out). I also finished the MNN I and II, and was also so fond of them I would like to use the Chuukyuu one. I am trying to use the MNN Chuukyuu for a little bit of self study.
